WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Committee on Small Business Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) released the following statement on the states of Texas and Mississippi reopening for business.
“I applaud Governor Abbott and Governor Reeves in their recent decisions allowing businesses in Texas and Mississippi to fully reopen their doors to the public. As Committee Republicans have repeatedly called on state leaders across the country to safely open for business, this news is an encouraging step in the right direction. I look forward to other states following in the footsteps of Texas and Mississippi, providing a working environment for all small business owners and employees to earn a paycheck once again."
