Ranking Member Chabot Statement on Jovita Carranza’s Selection to Lead the SBA

WASHINGTON – House Small Business Committee Ranking Member Steve Chabot (R-OH) released the following statement upon the announcement that President Trump will nominate Jovita Carranza to lead the Small Business Administration (SBA):

“Jovita Carranza is an excellent choice to lead the Small Business Administration. Her recent role as U.S. Treasurer and her previous experience as deputy administrator of the agency will be paramount as she works to continue a pro-growth agenda for America’s small businesses. I look forward to working with the new administrator to advance meaningful reforms for small businesses that will increase access to capital, roll back burdensome regulations, and keep small business optimism soaring. I hope the Senate will move to confirm her quickly.”
