Ranking Member Chabot Responds to GDP Growth

WASHINGTON – Ranking Member of the House Committee on Small Business Steve Chabot (R-OH) released the following statement after the gross domestic product (GDP) showed growth of 3.2 percent in the first quarter of 2019.

“A strong first quarter GDP reading of 3.2 percent that topped expectations continues to show the nation is moving forward.  From tax cuts to a reduction in regulations, our economy is reaching new heights.  I look forward to continuing to work with the Trump Administration on pro-growth policies that are transforming our economy for the nation’s employees and employers.”
